Biografía
Raiford Chatman Davis, conocido como Ossie Davis, (Georgia, 18 de diciembre de 1917 - Nueva York, 4 de febrero de 2005) fue un actor, director, guionista y productor de cine estadounidense, además de escritor y activista político. Se casó en 1948 con la actriz Ruby Dee (con quien creó, dirigió y protagonizó la serie de televisión de 1980 Ossie and Ruby), protagonizó más de 100 películas y dirigió cinco. En 1969 fue nominado al Globo de Oro al Mejor Actor de Reparto por su papel en la película Joe Bass, dirigida por Sydney Pollack.
