Synopsis
To fulfill a contract entered into by his boss, Chet Fanning agrees to finish the construction within a certain amount of time. However, Andrew Paxton has an enemy in the camp's boss, Dave Miller, who is determined to see the job fail.

Plot
Chet Fanning is hired on as a road worker. Dude McCormick attempts to prevent the road's completion so that he can regain possession of the coal rich land. Fanning rescues Iris Paxton from McCormick's schemes, and wins her love in the end.
