Anna Azcárate

Anna Raquel Azcárate, originally Azcarate Mecoleta, was born on **March 24, 1961**, in Eskilstuna, and is a Swedish actress and director.

Azcárate was part of the permanent ensemble at Norrbottensteatern in Luleå for 25 years. Since 2006, she has been freelance. She has also worked as a teacher at Teaterhögskolan in Luleå.

She has had roles in films and TV series, including *The Red Wolf* (*Den röda Vargen*) and *The Hypnotist* (*Hypnotisören*). She has also hosted SVT’s magazine program *Café Luleå*.

She is in a relationship with Mikael Odhag.
