Biography
Bituin Escalante (born April 23, 1977), better known as Bituin, is a Filipino singer and actress. She first gained popularity during the 2000 Metropop Song Festival and won the festival's second prize. Two years later, she won the grand prize at the Himig Handog Music Love Song Festival. Escalante is a two-time FAMAS and Gawad Urian nominee. Most recently, she won Best Supporting Actress at the 22nd Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival for the satire comedy film A.ni.mál.
