Brad Heller

Brad Heller is an acting teacher from the United States and the founder of the acting studio The Heller Approach in Los Angeles, California. He is also an actor, writer, and director. Heller was mentored by Group Theatre member Don Richardson, who was the only member of the group to say, "The Method is not about acting....." The technique developed by Heller, known as The Heller Approach, is primarily based on muscle memory. This approach is very different from the Acting Method, which requires one to delve into personal emotions. Heller's technique uses the same philosophy as that of an athlete. Heller's acting technique also helps performers overcome stage fright and performance anxiety.
