Biography

Ingrid Chatarina Larsson (born 2 April 1947 in Storkyrkoförsamlingen, Stockholm) is a Swedish actress.

Larsson made her stage debut alongside her father at Lisebergsteatern in 1964 in the revue Far i luften. She studied at Scenskolan in Malmö from 1967 to 1970 and was subsequently engaged at Stockholms stadsteater from 1970 to 1976 and later at Skånska teatern. Larsson is one of Sweden's leading educators in the art of acting and is frequently used throughout Sweden. She has, among other things, worked as a teacher and educator at Teaterhögskolan in Stockholm. In 1979, she was awarded Teaterförbundets Daniel Engdahlstipendium. She is the daughter of the actor and artist Egon Larsson and the singer Gun Larsson, and also the sister of the pianist Lalle Larsson and the actress Gunilla Larsson.
