Christopher Kriesa

Christopher Kriesa (* May 14, 1947 in Davenport, Iowa) is an American actor. He appeared, among others, in the cult film "Karate Kid," alongside Kirstie Alley in Carl Reiner's "Summer School" as a beach cop, alongside Jack Lemmon as Agent Kopeck in "My Fellow Americans," alongside Tom Hanks in Robert Zemeckis' "Cast Away" as the pilot Kevin, in "The Man Who Wasn't There" by Joel and Ethan Coen as Officer Persky, and as a policeman alongside Ellen DeGeneres in "Mr. Wrong." He has a particular preference for horror films, such as playing an older detective in "Hellraiser V – Inferno" and as a guard in Wes Craven's "Shocker." He is especially known to the German audience from splatter films by director Olaf Ittenbach ("Legion of the Death," "Beyond the Limits," and "Chain Reaction").
