Hakan Bilgin

Hasan Hakan Bilgin (b. April 4, 1967, Samsun) is a Turkish theater, cinema, and television series actor.

He is originally from Arhavi, Artvin. His first stage experience in theater was at the Karadeniz Theater of Ordu Municipality. During his education at Dokuz Eylül University’s Faculty of Business Administration, he continued his amateur theater life. In 1990, he began working at Ferhan Şensoy’s Ortaoyuncular Theater and embarked on a six-year journey with the company, starting with the play *"Güle Güle Godot"*. Later, he was taken into the E.S.E.K Theater group by Gökhan Semiz.

He first appeared on television in the series *"Utanmaz Adam"*. His first cinematic experience was in Yavuz Turgul’s film *"Eşkıya"*. Afterward, he appeared in numerous TV series and films.

In 2002, he began working at TOÇEV (Tüvana Okuma İstekli Çocuk Eğitim Vakfı) first as a volunteer and later professionally. In 2016, he became a member of TOÇEV’s Board of Directors.

Since 2004, he has hosted the international tournament, First Lego League, which brings children together with Lego. He became a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Bilim Kahramanları Association, established by the project team.

He has hosted many festivals and award ceremonies. In 2017, he began seminars titled *"Farkındalığın Fark Edilişi"* with Near East University in Cyprus. To date, he has reached over 40,000 high school students. He has participated in approximately 100 seminars at various institutions and universities and has given TEDx talks and moderated events.

In an interview, he stated that he best expresses himself through theater among television series, cinema, and theater. In 2008, he was the owner of Sakızlı Cafe in Nişantaşı. He announced that he had closed the place, entered the wholesale market, and was now working in wholesale.
