Hans Quest

Hans Quest (Herford, August 20, 1915 – Munich, March 29, 1997) was a German actor and director. An actor who divided his time between cinema, theater, and television, across both big and small screens, he worked in over seventy productions from the late 1930s to the early 1990s, while as a director he helmed over forty films and television dramas from the late 1950s to the late 1970s. Among his main roles, he is noted for playing Nicholai Nikolaisson in the television series "Blankenese" (1994); he was also a familiar face to the public for appearing as a guest star in various episodes of the television series "L'ispettore Derrick" and "Il commissario Köster." He was married to actress Charlotte Witthauer (1915-1980).
