Biography

Arthur Djanikian, known as Henry Djanik (sometimes spelled Henri Djanick), was a Franco-Armenian actor, born on March 21, 1926, in Varna and died on August 18, 2008, in Perreux-sur-Marne. Very active in the dubbing industry, he was one of the great French voices in dubbing and regularly dubbed Anthony Quinn in most of his films and Telly Savalas (including "Kojak"), as well as the voice of many actors in successful series such as Mister T. in "L'Agence tous risques." He is also known for having voiced several characters in animation, notably Ikki in "Les Chevaliers du Zodiaque" ("Saint Seiya") or the donkey Eeyore in the adventures of "Winnie the Pooh" from 1977 to 2000.
