Biography

Marek Kasprzyk (born September 13, 1961, in Tomaszów Lubelski) is a Polish theater and film actor. He is a graduate of the acting department of the Łódź Film School (1988). From his graduation until 1999, he was an actor at the S. Jaracz Theatre in Łódź (where he played, among others, the role of Mikołka in "Crime and Punishment" by F. Dostoevsky, directed by Leszek Wosiewicz). Since 1999, he has not been permanently associated with any theater and collaborates with the New Theatre in Łódź (including a role in "Don Juan" by Molière, staged by Maciej Jarnuszkiewicz) and the Logos Theatre in Łódź. In 2002, he received the Golden Mask award for the best actor of the Łódź season 2001/2002 for his role as Profir Piotrowicz in the play "About Lazarus" based on F. Dostoevsky, staged at the Logos Theatre.
