Mark Waschke

Mark Waschke (*March 10, 1972 in Wattenscheid) is a German actor, audiobook and audio drama narrator.

He initially gained attention through his long-term commitment at the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz. His breakthrough in film and television came in 2008 with the leading role as Senator Thomas Buddenbrook in Heinrich Breloer’s literary adaptation *Buddenbrooks*. He became known to a broader audience primarily as the first queer chief criminal investigator Robert Karow in the ARD crime series *Tatort*.
