Biography

Ryan discovered his passion for films during childhood, spending weekends engrossed in favorites like “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure” and “Gremlins.” He has written and directed ten short films, including “The Chebo,” which has garnered over two million views on Crypt TV’s YouTube channel, and “Smile,” which screened at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival.

With more than two hundred episodes of his horror podcast “Dismembering Horror” under his belt, Ryan has spent years immersed in the genre as both a filmmaker and fan. His first feature, “have you seen me?,” is premiering at the 59th Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia as one of two Special Discovery Screenings in the Noves Visions section.
