Biography

Sinan Bengier (born March 31, 1948, Ankara) is a Turkish theater and film actor. He studied at the Air Force Non-Commissioned Officer School but did not graduate. He began his theater and cinema career as an amateur in 1969. In 1971, he started working at the Karagöz Children's Theater. He later worked at the Asaf Çiyiltepe Stage, Ankara State Theater, and Ankara People's Theater. Among the plays he performed at the Ankara State Theater is "Bu Hesapta Yoktu." He met Levent Kırca and acted in the Levent Kırca Theater. In 1995, he joined BKM Players and acted in several films with them. Some of the series he appeared in include "Erkeksen Seyret," "Bir Demet Tiyatro," "Olacak O Kadar," "Çılgın Bediş," "Esir Şehrin İnsanları," and "Bir Filiz Vardı." He also supports young filmmakers. In 2015, he joined the Ahmet Çevik Theater. He explained how and why this collaboration happened in an interview with Deniz Zeyrek.
