Wolfram Koch

Wolfram Koch (*February 10, 1962, in Paris) is a German actor, audio drama, and audiobook narrator.

He is counted among the most profiled character actors of the German-language theater and gained widespread television recognition, particularly through his role as Chief Criminal Inspector Paul Brix in the *Frankfurt Tatort* (2015–2024). After completing his acting studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main, Koch was part of the permanent ensembles of significant stages, including the Schillertheater Berlin, the Schauspielhaus Bochum, and the Deutsches Theater Berlin. For his acting achievements, he has been awarded, among others, the Theaterpreis Berlin (2011), the Gertrud-Eysoldt-Ring (2015), and the Grimme-Preis (2017).
